We all know that not all green juices are created equal. Whilst juice is generally a healthier alternative to carbonated drinks, we need to be mindful of the content especially juices we buy from the shelf in the supermarket. The best option is to go to your local market and buy some organic produce, and DIY at home. Like this, you have a piece in mind knowing only the freshest organic produce have been used and no additives such as sugar or chemicals have been added into your juice.

Here is a recipe I found that not only tastes great but can help you to boost your immunity. With everything that is happening around us, boosting our immunity regularly is the way to keep ourselves safe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 green apple, cored and sliced
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 2 cups coconut water
  • 2 scoop of collagen powder

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a high power blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and serve.
