Pink for Spring!
With the Northern hemisphere entering sales season for spring summer 2017 and resort 2017 collection, it is the perfect time for Australians to stock up some good pieces for spring. Most designer labels will have most their resort collection available for purchase for the general public so I have selected some chic looks from selected designer labels. Although spring is still 3 months away, if you can get a good deal for designer labels at a fraction of the price, why not?

Outfit inspiration for your next summer holiday!
While summer is over in Australia, if you are living in the Northern hemisphere or planning a trip there mid year, you may want to source some inspiration for your next vacation. As a huge fan of Balenciaga, I want to share with you my favourite looks from the Resort 17 collection.
Shop for Pre-Fall 2017
We have officially entered March but the Australian weather has been anything but normal this year. Over at the East coast, we start to feel that the cooler days are arriving but in the West Coast the heat wave seems to arrive late (after an unfashionably cold and wet summer). I picked Look 14 from A.P.C. SS17 collection as an inspiration. You can recreate the look above by shopping the following:
Calvin Klein sweater ($267)
A.P.C. Anton Jumper ($266)
Bonds Woven Shorts ($50)
Boohoo Skinny Stretch Chino Shorts ($30)
A.P.C. Ribbed Socks ($42)
French Connection Cotton Sneaker ($80)
Invest in a shoulder bag this SS17!
I have also being a big fan of bags and often my female friends like to seek my opinion about bag. I was reading InStyle magazine February when I saw some pretty shoulder bags. Shoulder bags are easy to carry and looks really chic. Depending on the finishing, you can either channel the minimalist vibe or the laid back casual vibe.
Marni Shoulder Trunk Bag (P.O.A.)
Balenciaga Classic Gold Mini City ($2035)
Fendi Petite 2Jours (P.O.A.)
Celine Shoulder Bag (P.O.A.)
Louis Vuitton Crocodile Twist ($40000)
Louis Vuitton Petite Malle ($7300)
Unleash your flower power 🌸🌼!
Floral print is back for spring summer 2017! Like I have mentioned multiple times, I love shopping for Northern hemisphere’s spring summer collection because they’re wearable whole year round here in Australia. Bless the Australian weather.

Chinese New Year falls on Saturday this year and one of the Chinese customs is to wear something red on the first day of Chinese New Year. According to the Chinese, red is considered as an auspicious colour. Traditional folklore believed that red colour was used to scare away Nian an evil monster that attacks the village every year before Chinese New Year. From there on, Chinese believes in wearing red at the start of every year to symbolise an auspicious start to another new year.
Here are some looks from the menswear SS17 runway and Resort 17 looks that you can recreate this Chinese New Year:
