Fitness Friday: Healthier Joints

There is often a misconception that all runners run all the time. Apart from running on the treadmill or outdoor, I do a lot of side exercises in the gym or at home to improve my muscle and strength. Here are some exercises to help support the hips, knees and ankles. These strength works can also help to prevent joint pain.

#1: Side Plank

#2: Single Leg Lunge

#3: Single Leg Calf Raise

#4: Single Leg Bridge

All these exercises can be easily done anywhere including right at the comfort of your house. I hope you find this information useful and incorporate them on your day off when you are not hitting the gym or running outdoors.
