Wonders of Plasma

Ever wonder why the Australian Red Cross Blood Service requires donor to donate plasma? Plasma is the pale yellow liquid component of blood that normally holds the blood cells in whole blood in suspension. It plays a vital role in protecting the body from infection and other blood disorders.

Red Cross has launched a new campaign and is gradually rolling out the 18 Wonders of Plasma. I personally am a regular plasma donor and in 2016, I pledge to make 15 plasma donation.
