Inside my pantry there is always at least one carton of coconut water, especially during summer. I will literally have anxiety attack if I do not have coconut water in my pantry. I live off coconut water throughout the scorching summer especially summer here in Australia. I love to fish for different recipes on how you can use coconut water. I found this recipe online and thought it is an easy to make and yet at the same time savouring the goodness of coconut water.
- 1 1/4 cups coconut water
- 1 cup strawberries (frozen)
- 1 tsp honey (add more for making sweeter)
- Add all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
- Serve fresh or store in chiller overnight.
I think this smoothie will make a really good post workout drink. Not only it has coconut water to help you stay hydrated, it has strawberries to give you extra fibres and vitamins! You can easily make this into an organic drink by choosing organic coconut water, organic strawberries and raw honey!
This recipe is suitable for people who requires gluten free and lactose free. It is suitable for vegetarians and vegans too.
