Haha. Felicia introduced to me this lovely singer who has a voice of his own, cute and adorable face, adorned with a gentle sweet and affectionate smile! Yea! He’s the American Idol 2nd runner up! David Archuleta! Haha. I am in serious crash with his songs – Barriers =).

Grr.. At first I got a wholesome plan to study this afternoon.. I planned to memorise those damn stupid Moral, at least had a glimpse on the mood-spoiler English Literature and also the soul-stealer, inhuman Biology! Life totally sucks with all these subjects man! I only love Maths, Add Maths, Physics and Chemistry! The rest of the subjects are totally insane and inhuman. Wonder who invented those fool subjects?? Grr..

Anyway, back to topic. So I ended up watching this video…

A Phone Call. Piano Result.

  Today, while I was busy struggling with twisting my mind to seek the most appropriate solution for my Additional Mathematics question, suddenly, my phone started vibrating. Who’s that? Keep on reading and you’ll find out who the caller is. XD

  Requested to pay a visit to the washroom and so I answered the mysterious caller. A very familiar voice vibrated through my ear drum and passed through the cochlea and blah blah blah… [not a science lesson here.. XD] Who’s that??? Who?? Haha. She was Miss Irina, my… emm… former pianoforte teacher. XD. I still could recognise her voice… well… it’s only being 2 weeks nia… XD

  So, she asked me to phone her back. What’s so mysterious huh? Ok. I followed what she said. She then picked up the phone and told me these stuff as shown below.. XD

“Leon… (in her usual tone) I saw your piano result… and you got…. (wao! a long suspense… XD) MERIT!! 75!! Haha.. Congratulations… You know.. when I look at the mark sheet.. I was so scared by you… *exactly what Madam Lucy told me last time when I obtained Merit in Grade 7.. XD.. So now, you can finally be free from piano.. you can continue on with your PMR or SPM or whatever… [Miss Irina!! I'm so glad you mention PMR!! How I wish I could be back in PMR forever!!! XD]

  Then I answered her, “The mark sheet is with you already?”

  She went on, “Emm… IMH is photostating the mark sheet. I’ll get it very soon and once I get it, I’ll call you… But…”

  “But what?” I thought.

  “You can only get your certificate later…”

  “Oh… Ok…” I replied. XD

  “That’s all Leon. Haha. Ok. Don’t disturb you! Bye, Leon!” she ended the phone call.

  “Bye Miss Irina… and thank you!” I told her in a over-the-moon mood. XD

  “Welcome.. I’ll see you soon!” she answered and so it ended my phone conversation with my teacher with Russian accent in her voice.. Miss it a lot.. XD

  Phew! Am I glad to know that I pass my piano exam. And best of all, another MERIT again! XD!! Haha! Thanks a million to everyone… for instance… me myself.. Miss Irina and all others who have helped me directly or indirectly… Love you guys a lot… *MuaksZ.. XD

  Hehe… Most meaningful phone call I ever had… throughout the whole day month… XD

First Day Without Piano Lesson

 After a 10 years of hard works and strives, I really cannot believe my eyes that, I declare today, 6 APRIL 2008, will be my first day without anymore piano lesson!!!

  Though it sounds pretty lame, but you can imagine that after 10 years of hard work, you can finally finish 8 grades and now, with one burden off your shoulders!! Shouldn’t I be cheering for joy and happiness? XD. Totally over the moon yesterday when I finished my piano at 12 noon sharp. XD

  See, because of this piano, I gained something and lost something. Gain is the ability to show off that your family has the ability to afford you for a piano lesson (duh.. just applicable to those low class.. XD) and that you are able to play a musical instrument… emm… maybe like during orchestras, hopping around in friends’ houses, in school during special occasion and when people drop by your house for a surprise visit… well, that is the time when piano rules! You can really make your audience scream “VIOLA! Fabulous!!!” and also thunderous claps. Haha. It will make you feel higly lifted up. And that’s also the kind of feedback all musicians love to get! XD

  Emm… oh.. another thing which you may gain is probably fame. XD. You may become an overnight popular musician due to your potential, talent and skills. XD. Who doesn’t desire after fame right? XD. Even in school, if you are able to obtain a Merit in your piano exam… Haha.. The teachers will feel so proud of you. XD. And obviously, another attention being stolen by you!! XD.

 Lost will be the free time. Well, when I flashed back, I still remembered during RC’s weekly meeting, I need to make up some pretty lame reasons like attending someone’s dinner, transport problems and so on just for the sake the leave the meeting earlier and hurry to the piano lessons! Duh! And in the end you will end up like me today, become a minor role in RC. Haha! Yes! Piano and other musical instruments definetly will take up most of your free times. You need to spare time with the musical instrument. Mind I remind you, you’ve got scales and arpeggios, 3 pieces, ranging from 1 – 8 pages, depending on the grade you are studying, aural, sight reading and general knowledge! OMG! Then, you’ve got theory of music coming in, performances stuff and etc. So, it’s a huge sacrifice if you want to bop to the top! XD

  And due to my interest in theory, I sacrificed my co-curricular activities. I used to be interested in joining the Chinese Language Society. Yet I withdrawn due to theory classes. But at least for that one I am doing something that I had developed a huge crash on it! XD. However, things change as time elapsed. I started to lost my interest in music, probably due to exam. XD. But now, it’s over and the whole situation which lasted for 10 years and has taken up most of my childhood and pre-adulthood, can be described as…

A dull and cloudy day = Dull life.. XD

A shining day when rays of sunlight pierce through the darkness of horror… XD

  So did you get what I mean? Well, so it’s the first day I get my freedom from a tuition. And so as my parents. I saw them felt quite relieved after investing nearly a million in my sis and my music education. Phew. Shocking statistic huh. Well, at least from now on, a financial burden has dropped off from my parents.

  Well, do you think that’s the end of my music journey? I did ask myself that but I told myself ‘NO!’. I believe it’s the end of my piano lesson but it is also the beginning of a new music journey… XD. Where’s my new destination? Who knows? I am now just like a traveller, wondering around and waiting to uncover a whole new world and unfold another challenging and fascinating journey of life and music… XD
