  Sounds extremely familiar? XD. It’s the slogan which I learnt during the prefect camp last holiday. XD. Well, my dear team, comprising of me, Leon and my best buddies – Jack (Tan Yee), Esther and Eleen made it through the divisional level competition!

  Flashing back what had occured during the Career Week.

  I bumped into Shu Yi and Kwang Yan and the other seniors.

  Kwang Yan: Err Leon arr.. I need you to take part in the Eksplorasi Alam Kerjaya.

  Leon: Hmm… I thought Form 4 only folio right? And folio has been taken up by Felicia them?

  Kwang Yan: Yes. That’s folio.. But mine is Eksplorasi Alam Kerjaya (EAK).

  Leon: Err… what has that to do with me?

  Shu Yi: Leon… because we can’t take part this year as we ourselves had a competition on hand.. and it’s very important… so… we are thinking of giving you guys (form 4) a chance to gain experience and…

  Leon: Hmm.. You mean the thing Miss Chai mentioned earlier?

  Shu Yi: Yeap!

  Leon: No!! Sorry guys! I got a competition in my hand too.. I got the choral speaking. And few days before Puan Loo talked to me, Esther and Karen. She mentioned to us something about interschool public speaking… She’s going to carry out an audition. XD

  Shu Yi: That public speaking, are you sure you will be chosen?

  Leon: Ermm.. Dunno. I mean, it’s Puan Loo decision right?

  Kwang Yan: So, that thing you cant gurantee right? But this EAK competition you are sure that you can enrol.

  Leon: But no time oh.. Need to produce 200 pages thick of documentations, power point presentation and practical session…

  Shu Yi: Aww.. never mind.. You’ll find someone to help you..

  And so… I recruited Jack, Eleen and Esther. Then, our April’s nightmare began. First of all, Dr. Lau is screaming like a devil, Madam Rosemary commenting on the choral speakers’ slength, pronouncation etc. Duh! I was totally on hot fire. So many stuff! The initial choral speaking, which is by reluctance we join it, has driven us insane. What now to say the EAK competiton?

  Seriously, I’ve really gone mad because of those 2 competitions. I missed a month’s lesson. Wow! And guess what’s the feedback from every teacher??

BM (Madam Ting Yee Ung) – aiyo.. Leon.. Tan Yee (best buddies names always come together.. XD) pity you guys… always in and out and no time to study… (oh.. madam ting.. how sweet of you for caring us! muakss!) Haih.. You guys need to pull up your socks oh!

BI (Dr. Lau BY) – well.. I can’t say anything. Just try to work tremendously and strive hard during the next exam! Good luck in your EAK competiton! (oh! dear sweet Doctor.. XD)

BC (Madam Liuk IK) – don’t put a high expetaction on her.. she’s like staring at us all the time… can imagine her standing at my back now! woh! XD.. But at least I handed in my BC Nilam that day and sort of like peace off a little of her fire. XD

A.MX (Madam Ting TW) – Leon Leo arr… You guys a long time didn’t go into my class arr. Why? Competition again?! I dont’ care you guys arr! I must continue on with my lesson. Study yourselves. If don’t understand, then come and ask me.. *Sigh

CHEM (Madam Hu SM) – Again?! You say it again! You miss my CHEMISTRY lesson again?!! What are you four trying to do! You know Chemistry very important! *Sorry Puan Hu… we don’t mean to miss your chemistry lesson.. We are also COMPELLED to take part in this competiton…

  So, end of the comments by the teacher… Good or bad comments, you decide yourself. XD

  Well, yesterday we competed. Today the result announced. And for sure… Kuching High leads the way mah… so we got the champion!! Haha! All the hard works had finally pay off! Since now you know our result… let me tell you our bits and bits of details

1. We know this competition last minute – F5 retreat last minute. Haih

2. Eleen went for competiton. Esther attended camp. Me and Tan Yee, TY came to my house to overnight to complete the documentation. FYI, we work from 9.00 pm – 2.30 am, 4 hours sleep later, 6.30 – 8.30 am, breakfast, followed by 9.30 am – 2.00 am… Sorry! On the halfway, I’m gone and left Jack himself! Aww.. Sorry TY! I gurantee you during your birthday, I sure “chia” you eat many many nice stuff… buy many many good stuff that you and me like *understood between me and ty nia*. XD

3. Practical session – Gosh! Murdered our tuition time though learnt something from it.

4. On the stage phobia – Esther suffered that yesterday. Da fabulous and confident moi grabbed the mic to continue on everything

  Despite all those hard work, we emerged as a champion… in Kuching level!
